The author has vast experience on the subject of traveling Mexico in an RV. She and her husband have
traveled in the country since the mid-eighties. They have spent four to six months a year exploring and
living in the country since they retired.

She and her husband retired in their forties in order to have the time to really see the world. Their goal
was to find the perfect beach, build a little place to park the motorhome, and spend the rest of their lives under
palm trees swaying in the breeze while watching sunsets over the ocean. In the past eleven years they have
traveled over 85,000 miles exploring this wondrous country. They have made that dream a reality and have
built a home near Puerto Vallarta as a base but will continue to travel and explore their favorite places.
They led groups of fellow RV’ers into Mexico for five years. Finding answers to their multitudes of questions
planted the seed for this book. Searching for a guidebook to answer all the queries was fruitless as one
did not exist. The author decided to write one herself. The questions were easy to collect, the answers
took considerable time and research. |
